Halloween with the Team
It was a busy and exciting day for the students! We hope you enjoy this slideshow of our day from morning exercises with "Wake Up, Victor Primary" to the parade and party in the afternoon.
Welcome, Miss Baker!
We are happy to welcome our new student teacher, Miss Baker. She is from Nazareth College and will be with us for the next seven weeks. We are glad to have a new member of the team and we're looking forward to working with her.
Farewell, Mrs. Schneider!
It has been wonderful working with Mrs. Schneider; she has added so much to our team and we will truly miss her. We wish her well in her next placement in Honeoye Falls and hope that she comes back to visit. We had a surprise party for her October 17, and we hope you enjoy this slideshow of the party. Thanks so much to the wonderful parents who sent in treats and coordinated our party, especially Mrs. Frutchey and Mrs. Heltz who catered the event!
Rochester Area Colleges' Center for Excellence in Math and Science launches new website!
Mrs. Harper was a consultant in the development of this new website which aims to be the site of first resort for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education in the Central-Western New York region. The site has pages geared to students and parents. It has now been launched and we invite you to visit it at: http://www.raccems.org/
Mrs. Allen: our own Dancing Queen!
We are very proud of Mrs. Allen. She auditioned for Channel 13's Dancing with Rochester Stars: Teachers. Click the links below to see Channel 13's video coverage of the excitement.
Miss Baker, our student teacher from Nazareth College, worked with us from before Halloween until December 14. We learned so many new things from her and we know she learned a lot from us. She will return to college in January to complete her degree and graduate in May 2008. We miss her, and hope she comes back to visit. Thank you for everything Miss Baker! You did a great job!
