Driving to Maine (Mom's Point of View)

Do you want to drive to Maine. (I ask my husband.) No you drive. No you drive!! I don’t want to. Oh yes you will. No I won’t. Sudenly I woke up. I have one question (My husband says.) Why are you holding the lamp over me. Oh, sorry bad dream. I forgive you.                     

Barbecue Sauce

I was walking down the road in Maine. Once we got to a restaurant we stopped and ordered. I got chicken and pink lemonade.  My Nana giggeld” It’s funny that we all got pink lemonade.We ate upstairs. I wanted barbecue sauce on mine. I asked my uncle to put it on. He couldn’t. I asked my dad, still nothing. My grandpa loosened the cap. WHOOSH! It went wild. The Barbeque Sauce got my nana, her purse, and me.”Grandpa mumbled I bet that will never happen again”. He felt like jumping out the window.

Sledding

In December I was screaming with a huge smile on my face. I was going sledding with my friend. At first we had a race. Then we went together. We kept crashing and tumbling into each other! I was laughing rapidly. We had a good time.

I sat down to watch T.V.  As soon as I turned it on a weird show Bob the catapillar & Harold the Moose came on. They said “Hey everybody let’s have a nervous breakdown.” I said “These people need help.

George Eastman House

The George Eastman Field Trip was very fun. We had a tour of his house. It was three floors high. He had a garden. It was at least as wide as two houses! In his house there is a cool room where you get to make your own flipbook and there were flipbook cartoons. There was a gift shop where you get to by buy flipbooks. Only one person in our group could get one. There was a weird painting of someone whose eyes followed you. In the conservatory there is a elephant head and trunk.
